Brussels Art Square (BAS) 2017
Founded in 2005, on the initiative of a group of leading Belgian antiques dealers, Brussels Art Square (BAS) aims to raise the profile, both at home and abroad, of the Sablon and its surrounding area as a historic art and antiques district, with the intention of preserving the originality and charm of this quarter of Brussels.
Following the success with the UK, Spain and Italy as our guests of honour, BAS is proud to present France as our privileged guest for the 2017 edition. The French and Belgian galleries invite the visitors on a journey through the centuries and take them to the all corners of the world on the 22nd, 23rd , 24th & 25th of September 2017.

Last year, on the initiative of the Lifeisart gallery in the heart of Antwerp, the new art event TOBE was organised in the area around the Leopoldplaats in the center of Antwerp: 38 established art, antiques & design dealers and cultural organisations, opened their doors for 33 young artists, the Master Graduates of St. Lucas & The Royal Academy of Fine Arts. The aim is to support new talent by offering the visitors the possibility to discover new talent in an environment that is totally different from their contemporary work: galleries offering the more (semi)classic orientated art, antiques and design. A visual biotope is created in which diverse disciplines, cultures and periods come together in unison. Old and new complement each other in beauty.
The second edition of TOBE will take place on the 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th of November 2017.
Dates: Saturday 27 January - Sunday 4 February 2018
Location: Tour & Taxis, Havenlaan 86 C, 1000 Brussels, Belgium
